GOLD RE QUALITY AWARD FOR ST PETER AND ST PAUL'S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

The ‘Religious Education Quality Mark’ is a national award which recognises high standards in the teaching and learning in RE. We applied for the award and had to undergo a rigorous assessment, which included presenting a portfolio of evidence and a visit by an RE inspector to school. The inspector spoke to the children and was overwhelmed with their knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. We are very proud of our children and delighted that the hard work of the children and staff together has led to this achievement. We know it has made a real difference to the teaching of RE in our school.
